About me
Hi, I’m Patrick Baker, and I’m the creator of Snowfish History – a project where I combine my love of the past with my passion for making engaging historical videos.

I grew up in Northamptonshire, surrounded by traces of the British Civil War, fascinated by the people, places and stories that shaped our history. I went on to graduate from Royal Holloway University with a First-Class degree in History, and now I bring those stories to life through documentary-style videos and learning resources, starting with my film on the Battle of Cropredy Bridge.

Snowfish History is where I share those videos, along with articles and visual storytelling – all aimed at helping others, whether enthusiasts or students, connect with the past in ways that feel vivid and human.
